A Taharah calendar can be managed manually. The benefit of a digital system is not to change Halachah, but to reduce the technical burden of calculating, recording and remembering.
Calculations
With manual tracking, source dates, Hebrew dates, Onot and intervals need to be maintained and future dates recalculated. TaharaSmart calculates supported results from stored facts and presents them on the calendar.
History
Instead of maintaining separate lists, the system keeps an organized history of entered facts and recalculates derived results when relevant information changes.
Reminders
A correct calculation is still easy to miss if the calendar is not opened at the right time. Users can choose Email or SMS reminders before dates they want to remember.
What does a digital calendar not do?
The system does not replace Halachic judgment. Questions requiring a ruling should be discussed with a Rav or Halachic authority.
